Video Surveillance Case Study

Problem:

Customer (a 400 room, 20 story hotel) had an existing analog camera system that only covered a small part of the hotel and was unwieldy to use (too many man hours spent rewinding video to find something important).

Red Cloud Solution:

Red Cloud designed and implemented a wireless, digital video surveillance system that utilized the existing cameras and filled camera coverage gaps by implementing a WiFi backbone to manage the camera system. We used an analog to digital converter to make the old analog cameras work on the new digital system, enhanced the hotel's existing WiFi network to support wireless cameras, and installed a digital management system for the cameras so the customer can instantly bring up something important. Red Cloud was able to save the customer money by using existing equipment and by specifying wireless cameras that are virtually plug and play.
